About this Workshop

REACH is getting ready to roll out its newly renovated Clay Studio!

After 16 years of operating our clay studio in a less than ideal space, we are looking forward to inviting the community to clay classes for all ages in our newly renovated and modernized clay studio. It has taken a lot of blood sweat and tears… and well, yes you guessed it… money.

That’s where you, our crowd comes in. We need your help raising the final $45,000 needed to finally finish this 6-year facility expansion project. If we meet our $45,000 goal, your donations will double and turn into $90,000 thanks to matching funds generosity from Our Community Foundation and REACH Board Members! Add that to the $180,000 already raised through grants and pledges and we will be able to complete this last phase of Expanding Our REACH. Happy dancing will abound.

We have come so far. From a cozy 400 square foot room where we did ALL our art classes with hundreds of Lansing youth and adults, including clay, to a 10,000 square foot facility with 6 studio classrooms (clay, performing arts, computer lab, fiber arts, a teen studio and a general purpose classroom) and a gallery. How exciting is that!

We are so grateful to ALT Printing for hosting the launch party for our Crowdfunder – where we will kick-off our 1-month effort to raise the last bit of moola needed to be done, REALLY done, with expanding REACH (at least in physical space). We will celebrate making (or exceeding!) our $45,000 goal at the 16th Annual Not So Silent Night Gala, December 14th. We will definitely NOT be silent. We can do this right?
