Printer Use and Artwork Requirements:
ALT uses an inkjet printer to produce all transparencies. All artwork printed in the studio must be reviewed by the in house graphic designer via ONE (1) of the options outlined below and will occur during the scheduled studio time.
Option One- Artwork is print ready. “Print ready” is defined as artwork that has been formatted by an individual that is familiar with prepping digital artwork for screen-printing. The graphic designer will conduct a minimal review of the artwork file for general parameters for printing (e.g. color, size, etc.). See general parameters for artwork.
Option Two- Artwork is not print ready. This option is for those individuals that do not know how to convert artwork to a format that is appropriate for screen-printing (e.g. hand drawings, etc.). The in house graphic designer will work with your existing artwork to convert it into a print ready file. There is an hourly service charge of $25/ hour for this option.
Please note that that Option Two is a not a graphic design service. The graphic designer will only work with existing artwork and reserves the right to decide if a file is suitable for conversion. If graphic design services are needed, please contact an ALT staff member and other arrangements can be made.
