About this Workshop
A print making studio offering workshops in various forms of creation. A.L.T. Printing Co. is Lansing’s newest location for a fun filled night out. Located in the REOTOWN, our open concept shop features handmade gifts for every occasion and our workshops offer a time to unwind and have fun learning an age old craft.
Most of workshops incorporate a notion we like to call, collaborative creativity. Meaning, we combine screen-printing with another crafty way of making things.
Workshops
Our workshops are a great place to unwind with friends and family. Some classes offer additional fun in the form of liquid courage whereas others are great for the family. See our workshop calendar for available workshops that fits your idea of fun.
Our workshops are held in an open studio setting, which promotes collaboration between the participants. Workshops are fun for any age but it does tend to be more fun when we collaborate with people our own age. Therefore, our Saturday and Sunday morning workshops are geared for kids age 12 and under. Our evening classes are themed for a more mature crowd. To avoid confusion, the title of the workshop will always indicate the intended crowd for the workshop.
Each of our workshops is carefully planned for the number of participants in each class. We also have a limited amount of space in the studio. Therefore, we are unable to accept walk-ins at this time. All participants must pre-register for workshops.
Please note:
The class fee includes all materials needed to screen print one pillow and you may bring your own shirt if you would like to print your favorite spooky graphic to wear. As these items do make fantastic gifts, additional materials will be available at an additional cost to print on.
Participants should wear comfortable clothing that can get dirty. Screen-printing is a process intended to make permanent fixtures to fabric so the ink will stain.
We ask that you arrive a few minutes before the class begins to get settled.
Printmaking is a generally safe process. However, A.L.T. Printing Co. assumes no liability for accidents or injuries. Each participant will be required to sign a liability waiver prior to the workshop.
Registration for classes will typically close 24 hours before the start of the class. This allows A.L.T to prepare and ensure a wicked awesome class for everyone signed up.
Cancellation policy:
Our shop has limited space and our workshops are planned out for a certain number of participants. Due to the time and cost of purchasing and prepping materials, workshops are non-refundable. We understand that plans change. If a cancellation is needed, you must cancel 7 days prior to the scheduled workshop date to receive a credit for another workshop. We will allow you to transfer your spot to another person. If that’s the case, just give us a call and let us know ahead of time.
Workshops may be cancelled due to low registration. A.L.T. Printing Co. will notify registered participants of the cancellation at least 2 days prior to the scheduled workshop. A full refund or an offer to reschedule will both be offered in the event of cancellations.
